How much does it cost ?

The course is offered free of cost. There is no fee collected for the course, registration or for take home materials. Attending regular Sahaja Yoga workshops around Bay Area is also offered free of cost.
Can I attend only part of the course ?

The course is outlined such a way that you get maximum benefit from attending all the days of the course. However, if unavoidable you can still attend only part of the course, we will be glad to walk you through the remaining parts on individual basis when you attend any one of regular weekly programs held in Berkeley, Fremont and Santa Clara.
What should I bring ? Should I bring any yoga mats ?

Nothing. Yoga mats are not needed, since the course is on meditation, which is done by sitting normally on chairs.
Will I be sitting on the floor ?

No. Inside the class room, chairs are provided. We would be sitting on chairs.
Will I be provided take home materials ?

Yes. You will be provided with literature materials for reading and also materials that guide you to do meditation at home.
What should I expect at the end of the course ?

At the end of the course, you would be able to experience the various energy centers within you. You would be able to meditate at home and enjoy the peaceful state of mind.

How is the course funded ?

The course is funded by generous contributions from volunteers who teach the course and also enjoy practising Sahaja Yoga meditation. The course is also partially funded by Vishwa Nirmala Dharma, a registered non-profit group.
Who are the instructors ?

The instructors are residents of Bay Area who are experienced volunteers and have long been practising Sahaja Yoga meditation.
Is there wheelchair access ot the classroom ?

Yes.
Should I wear any special clothing ?

No. Wear normal and comfortable clothing.
Can I have food before the class ?

Yes. You may have food before the class.

Course Description

Sahaja Yoga is a powerful yet simple meditative technique for providing the stress relief and balanced health that is so much missing in todays fast and modern life. This introductory course allows you to experience first hand the meditative technique and also know the basics of our inner subtle body. Every class consists of well guided meditation, personal and interactive workshops with audio video presentation. You would also be provided with the need material to guide through the meditation process.
